奧恩向來鼓勵小朋友跳出既定的框框，開發更多創意思維，所以課堂上亦會經常與小朋友作出更多大膽嘗試!
放棄一般畫筆，老師與同學仔嘗試以玩具車的車輪胎作為巨型畫具，在大型畫紙上利用不同的顏色的顏料作MIX & MATCH，刺激他們的觀感世界，更有助他們的小肌肉訓練，提升手腕定力!
家長可以喺放假時候同小朋友一齊嘗試更多創意藝術，令小朋友激發無限創意潛力!
Combining creativity, art and play at Mighty Oaks.
At playgroup this month, our students used toy cars as painting tools, which offered a great combination of play, painting and printing, and the results look fabulous. With a variety of colours, the teachers gathered lots of different toy cars/trucks and land transport toys. The kids moved the toys back and forth in paint and rolled them across the huge sheet of paper. We explored the different tracks the cars made. We also discussed the size of the tracks, the mixed colours, the different patterns and the thicknesses and shapes the toys made. We allowed the children to be as creative as they liked and to make various patterns.
As the colours mixed together, we discussed the new colours being made. You can try this at home too! As an extension activity and to save clean-up time, you can have a "car wash" with your kids by putting the cars in a tub of soapy water. This is a sure hit with kids, good for developing fine motor skills (holding vehicles) and gross motor skills (rolling back and forth) and beginning to explore mathematical concepts like thick, thin, heavy, light, big and small.
